Staying here for a longer period proved worthwhile, with a quiet and safe atmosphere that made it feel like home, even amidst the city's chaos. The daily cleaning service kept things tidy, maintaining a pleasant environment.
Location-wise, while it feels secure in a gated area, getting to the main road requires a 12-minute walk through the residential neighborhood, which can be a drag if you're not hailing a taxi. The hot water situation left some wanting, coming and going like a Bounty Hunter on a mission, making showers a bit of a gamble. Wi-Fi connectivity was irritatingly unstable, sometimes dropping for extended periods, leaving you disconnected when you need it most. The furniture in the room leaned more toward aesthetics than comfort, lacking the cozy touch that could enhance the overall experience.

the check-in ordeal was excruciating with someone finally answering the door after 3 rings, then I was faced with the 'luxury' of a tiny floor that looked dirty. Also, no complimentary drink for my 'extraordinary' stay? I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t, too many disappointments for a supposedly high-end place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Eco Suites Uxlabil Guatemala. The design reflects Mayan culture beautifully, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, ready to assist with a smile, making every interaction pleasant and comforting.
Hot water was sometimes inconsistent.

quiet gated area, spacious complete kitchen, Mayan culture design
The hotel lacks a direct route to the main road, making it inconvenient to access. Hot water seems inconsistent at times!!! Furniture could benefit from being more comfortable instead of merely decorative, which detracts from the experience.

i had a lovely stay at eco suites uxlabil guatemala. the interior design reflecting mayan culture was beautiful, and the hot tub and sauna were a great bonus for relaxation. the area outside had a nice open deck with a view of the lovely greenery, which made for a peaceful atmosphere.
the curtains in my double room let in too much light, making it a bit tricky to sleep.

Spacious and comfy stay!
Our room was massive, like a little apartment! Had a cute sitting area and a kitchenette which was super handy. The breakfast by the garden was so peaceful, eating surrounded by nature was just perfect. Only thing was the shower was a bit hit or miss with hot water, which was kinda annoying sometimes.

I loved my stay here. the room was super spacious with a lovely sitting area, and I really appreciated the reminder call for breakfast times! There’s a beautiful garden where you can unwind and a comfy lounge area perfect for relaxing after a day out. One downside was that the hot water was a bit on and off, but it didn’t ruin my time at all. 😊
